Here’s my viewpoint on concierge writing: it’s a focused conversation, peppered with questions from me designed to lead to insights and “aha” moments, with the end product customized to your style. The most engaging fiction lends itself to alternative readings and conclusions. A memorable memoir conveys your experiences with clarity and if you wish, includes your beliefs and your feelings. The process to get there is a convivial give and take of ideas.
Many writers speak of “finding their voice.” My experience, honed by years of working with clients, is to listen intently to find that voice each storyteller already uses. You bring your life experience, intellect and imagination; I provide the discipline, optimism and curiosity to help you find your voice and get it down in print!
I am a credentialed English teacher and writer who loves a well crafted story. I have written since I was young, earning a B.A. cum laude with distinction in English. Subsequently, I obtained my juris doctor degree and I wrote extensively during my tenure as an attorney. When my children were young, I returned to school to earn my education degree as a high school English teacher and became accredited. I have a wealth of experience, from creative writing to business and analytical writing, script and speech writing.
